Total Shoulder Replacement
Total shoulder replacement is the removal of arthritic joint surface(s) in the shoulder and placement of metal joint prostheses. Our therapists will treat each patient according to their surgeon’s protocol and attempt to maximize function. Due to the large amount of ROM in the shoulder, progression with therapy is sometimes conservatively progressed, as we give the shoulder time to heal and the joint to stabilize.
