Stroke

Stroke or cerebrovascular accident (CVA) can present in a number of ways. Patients may have a weakness, pain, and/or diminished sensation. These symptoms result in difficulty using limbs, balance deficiencies, and/or difficulty walking. Typically, this is seen on one side of the body. The affected side indicates the opposite side of the brain was affected by the CVA. We focus on improving these deficits and function for return to activities of daily living (ADLs).
