Reprogram Your Nervous System
for Faster Healing & High Performance
Outbound is excited to add the NEUBIE NeuFit System to our practice.
This innovative technology uses a different approach to recovery, focusing on the nervous system to help patients recover from pain and injury. According to NeuFit their system is, “designed to help you achieve greater levels of neurological activation and control in order to heal faster, get fitter, and perform better.”
As the only Physical Therapy Clinic in Mid-Missouri to utilize the NEUBIE device, we are able to offer a unique service to our patients that others can not. This technology is helping us provide an additional support, utilizing the nervous system to help expedite the healing process for our patients. This innovative technology is used to, “help the body become more efficient with its own processes. With the right signals, your body has the opportunity to heal itself from injury, build muscle, and create good health.”
What is the Neubie/ Neufit Technology?
According to the Neufit website, “The Neubie is NeuFit’s patented electrical stimulation device. It is an acronym for “Neuro-bio-electric stimulator,” and it is cleared by the FDA. When the Neubie is combined with NeuFit protocols, the system provides for new methods of Neuromuscular Re-education.”
The best ways to treat pain, revolve around the nervous system. The nervous system controls all muscle movement, so if you have a movement dysfunction problem that is greatly affecting your quality of life, this technology could offer a world of relief for you!
What makes Neubie so special?
The Neubie at Outbound is unlike any other technology of its kind. It uses pulsed direct current into tissues that promotes healing. Direct current has many positive biological effects; direct current fields have been shown to speed up the physiological processes of healing, repair, and regeneration. It also has unique effects on the nervous/neuromuscular system.
Most rehabilitative devices use alternating current. These devices are easier & cheaper to engineer; most people don’t even recognize a difference. Unfortunately, they won’t have anywhere near the same effect on a patient.

The NEUBIE NeuFit is based on neuromuscular re-education. Our nervous system controls every muscle movement and when an injury occurs it is important to incorporate the nervous system into the rehabilitation process. After an injury, it is common for simple movements to cause you pain, limiting your mobility, or negatively affecting your athletic performance. The NEUBIE NeuFit System may be able to help you with the following:
Re-educate Muscles
Increase Blood Flow
Improve Range of Motion
Prevent Atrophy
Decrease Spasms
Relieve or Manage Pain
-
With Neubie NeuFit, one exercise session works your muscles as much as several traditional gym workouts. Your muscles and metabolic rate will adapt accordingly, and your results are dramatically accelerated.
-
One of the best things about the NEUBIE is that one session utilizing the device works your muscles in the same way that several traditional exercises would. The system targets specific muscles and tissue to help expedite the recovery while reducing pain and increasing overall strength in the specific area. One of the best things about the NEUBIE is that the electrical activation techniques allow our team to assess where the pain originates which means we can start healing the specific area on your first visit.
Who benefits from the Neubie?
Many patients at Outbound have benefited from the NEUBIE, such as:
People managing MS and needing to improve walking and decrease fatigue.
Post-operative patients, such as ACL or total knee, needing to restore neuromuscular activation and control of muscles.
People with chronic low back pain that hasn’t been alleviated by other treatments.
People with atrophy or neuropathy from a problem with pain and nerve damage.
People with chronic over-tight and painful muscle guarding in neck, shoulder, or low back.
Strength athletes looking for better glute activation, less shoulder pain, or improved overhead mobility.
Runners working to improve hip and back mobility and decrease knee or foot pain.
