Total Knee Replacement
Total knee replacement is the removal of arthritic joint surface(s) in the knee and placement of metal joint prostheses. We work closely with the surgeon to follow appropriate protocol and progress the patient appropriately, yet, aggressively to return to normal activities of daily living (ADLs). We offer home visits, which are billed as outpatient physical therapy in lieu of home health. Following home visits, the patient is transitioned into the clinic to complete treatment. We closely monitor the incision and skin integrity and communicate with the surgeon’s office as needed.
